Article 71 — Establishment and Structure of the EU Database

1. The Commission shall, in collaboration with the Member States, establish and maintain a EU database containing information on high-risk AI systems referred to in Annex III.

2. The information contained in the EU database shall be accessible to the public. The database shall be user-friendly and easily navigable, and include information such as:
(a) the name, address and contact details of the provider;
(b) where applicable, the name, address and contact details of the authorised representative;
(c) the AI system's trade name, version, and description;
(d) description of the intended purpose;
(e) status of the high-risk AI system (on the market, withdrawn, recalled, no longer available);
(f) the reference number of the EU declaration of conformity.

3. The database shall also include a publicly accessible section containing information about general-purpose AI models with systemic risk.
