Article 68 — EU Database for High-Risk AI Systems

1. The Commission shall, in collaboration with the Member States, set up and maintain a EU database containing information referred to in Article 71(1) on high-risk AI systems referred to in Annex III that are registered in accordance with Article 49.

2. The Commission shall be the controller of the database. It shall also ensure adequate technical and organisational support for the AI Office in fulfilling its tasks.

3. The EU database shall be publicly accessible and machine-readable. The information contained in it shall be accessible, user-friendly and easily navigable.

4. The EU database shall include information on general-purpose AI models with systemic risk pursuant to Article 71.
