Article 91 — Commission Evaluation and Review

1. The Commission shall assess the need to amend the list set out in Annex III and the prohibited practices in Chapter II every 4 years after the entry into force of this Regulation, and submit a report to the European Parliament and to the Council.

2. By 2 August 2029 and every 4 years thereafter, the Commission shall submit to the European Parliament and to the Council a report on the evaluation and review of this Regulation.

3. The reports referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 shall assess in particular:
(a) the status of development and deployment of AI systems in the Union;
(b) the impact of this Regulation on innovation and on the development of AI;
(c) the adequacy of the provisions on AI literacy.
