Article 87 — Reporting of Infringements and Protection of Reporting Persons

1. Directive (EU) 2019/1937 shall apply to the reporting of infringements of this Regulation and to the protection of persons reporting such infringements.

2. Competent authorities shall establish effective mechanisms to enable reporting of infringements and shall take appropriate measures to protect reporting persons from retaliation.

3. Reporting persons shall be able to submit complaints to the relevant market surveillance authority or the AI Office, as appropriate.
