Article 97 — Evaluation and Review

The Commission shall, by 2 August 2029, and every four years thereafter, submit to the European Parliament and to the Council a report on the evaluation and review of this Regulation, accompanied, where appropriate, by a legislative proposal.

The report shall address in particular:
(a) the status of development and deployment of AI systems in the Union;
(b) an assessment of resources allocated to the enforcement of this Regulation;
(c) the scope and application of prohibited practices and high-risk classifications in the light of technical and market developments.
