Mutual Assistance, Market Surveillance and Control of General-Purpose AI Models

Article 82 — Mutual Assistance, Market Surveillance and Control of General-Purpose AI Models 1. Where a national competent authority has reason to consider that a general-purpose AI model or a general-purpose AI system does not comply with this Regulation, it may request the AI Office to carry out an evaluation of the model or system. 2. The AI Office shall, in coordination with the Scientific Panel, carry out the evaluation and may take appropriate measures in accordance with Articles 91 and 92. 3. National competent authorities and the AI Office shall cooperate and share information to ensure the coherent application of this Regulation to general-purpose AI models.
