Further Processing of Personal Data for Developing AI of Public Interest

Article 61 — Further Processing of Personal Data for Developing Certain AI Systems in the Public Interest Personal data lawfully collected for other purposes may be processed for the purposes of developing, training and testing AI systems intended to contribute to the public interest referred to in Article 59(1)(a) in accordance with the provisions of Union law that apply to such processing, including specific safeguards laid down in applicable data protection law.
