Common Specifications

Article 41 — Common Specifications

1. The Commission may, by means of implementing acts, adopt common specifications for the requirements set out in Section 2 in respect of which no harmonised standards exist or where it considers that the relevant harmonised standards are insufficient.

2. The Commission shall take due account of the views of relevant stakeholders before adopting common specifications.

3. Common specifications shall be consistent with the harmonised standards referred to in Article 40.

4. Providers of high-risk AI systems complying with common specifications referred to in paragraph 1 shall be presumed to be in conformity with the requirements of this Regulation covered by those common specifications.
