Conformity Assessment Bodies of Third Countries

Article 39 — Conformity Assessment Bodies of Third Countries

Conformity assessment bodies established under the law of third countries with which the Union has concluded an international agreement may be authorised to carry out conformity assessment activities under this Regulation, to the extent stipulated in those agreements.

The Commission is empowered to adopt implementing acts to specify the conditions under which such bodies may be accepted.
